Electronic Deflashing / Lead Frames
Prepares lead for easier and more uniform tinning and coating procedures. Removes resin bleed without impinging surface.
AIRCRAFT PAINT REMOVAL
MAGIC® II / TYPE VIII removes coatings from aircraft substrates at pressures as low as 10 PSI and as high as 35 PSI while leaving anadized and alclad surfaces intact. It is used on a wide variety of air-craft components.
AIRCRAFT WHEEL STRIPPING
Plastic media is also used in automated systems. It removes the paint rapidly while leaving the alodine intact without pitting or causing damage to the aluminum wheel.
Ground Vehicle Paint Removal
Paint is readily removed from auto, truck, railcar, and bus bodies.
Deflashes With Out Damage
POLYEXTRA® is effective for bottom paint stripping applications on aluminum, fiberglass, and dense hardwood hulls. It is also extremely effective for the rapid removal of dried barnacles and old paint.
Can be substituted for chemical stripping. In many applications, major time savings can be realized. Effective on most paint systems including powder coating.
FIBERGLASS ROTOBLADE COATINGS REMOVAL
MAGIC® II / TYPE VIII removes coatings from rotoblade surfaces from 10psi to 25psi including Lightning Strike.
Removes light burrs from components while maintaining the integrity of a finished part.
Tenacious sealants and adhesives can be safely removed without damage to the substrate.
Readily cleans molds used in rubber, plastic, glass, and die cast molding without affecting surface dimensions. Edges are not compromised, mold life is prolonged, cracks in molds are not smeared
over, and flash on parts is reduced.
3D Printed Parts
Effectively removes flash from parting lines on thermoset plastic parts. Removes surface anomalies without causing damage to the part.
Carbon deposits and paint can be easily dry stripped with no wear to critical mechanical dimensions,
including aluminum parts.
Etching circuit boards before printing. Pre-laminate roughening. Prepaint surface prep on plastics.
BONDED ADHESIVE REMOVAL
BONDBLAST® was engineered to remove adhesives and sealants without removing the primer from the substrate.
MAGIC® II / TYPE VIII was developed with composite surfaces in mind. It is a pressure sensitive material, which can be used from 10 to 35 PSI with no damage to the composite surface.
CARBON FIBER SELECTIVE STRIPPING
MAGIC® II / TYPE VIII can remove the top coat from green impact resistant primer at a high rate of speed leaving the primer intact and the carbon fiber untouched.
